Book Men DC is an informal group of men who are interested in gay literature (both fiction and non-fiction). Most of us live in or near Washington DC, but a few members bring a breath of fresh air to our meetings from outside the Beltway, and visitors to DC are always welcome to drop in and join the discussion.
The group gets together on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Meetings last about an hour and begin at 7:30 pm.
On the first Wednesday we meet at the DC Library's Tenley-Friendship Branch, 4450 Wisconsin Ave. NW—just across the street from the Tenleytown-AU Metro Stop (Red Line).
On the third Wednesday we meet at the American Foreign Service Association at 2101 E St NW, a few blocks from the Foggy Bottom–GWU Metro Stop (Orange and Blue Lines).
In keeping with our open and public policy you don't have to become a member or commit to reading every book and attending every meeting. Simply show up when your interests and schedule allow.
